This article is a step by step guide on how to pair a Symbol LI4278 Bluetooth Scanner
Instructions
1. Download / Print Quick Start Guide attached. (Best practice is to print as you may have difficulties scanning from a computer screen)
2. Follow the quick start guide on how to set up the scanner and cradle
3. Preferred method is to set up via USB.
4. After setting up via USB, scan 'HID KEYBOARD EMULATION' in Step 3 section of the guide
5. Scan 'CRADLE HOST' in step 4.
6. Scanner should be now paired. Test via scanning a barcode with 'Notepad' opened
7. If you wish to add Tabs / Enters after the scans, refer to 'Helpful Barcodes' in the 2nd page.
