Consign Accurately

Consign Correctly

It may seem simple. However consigning correctly is the first and best way to ensure you are receiving the lowest possible cost for freight.

Over Estimating Freight

Over Estimating/Over measuring has its obvious negatives paying more for delivery than the true cost of the weight.

Underestimating Freight

  • Underestimating your freight by providing smaller dimensions or weight measurements, does not save you money! It also ensures your quote provided to be inaccurate.
  • This becomes more expensive as there can be associated costs when the measurements are recognized to be inaccurate from the provided information and ultimately fixed by the carrier.
  • This also can potentially ensure you are charged inefficiently. ultimately paying more than if consigning correctly.
    • Placing 1.2kg in a 1kg Satchel. will ensure you are ultimately charged 2x1kg satchel
      • The Cheaper option is to place 1.2kg in a 3kg Satchel

Weigh and measure your freight to ensure you are always providing accurate item level information
