This article states the best practice on how to import multiple Shipping Units at once.
Adding multiple shipping units to OneFlo requires the account manager to raise a case to IT Service desk team and can take some time. Please consider whether or not these need to be loaded in bulk or can be done manually.
Minimum number for Bulk Import - 40
This is because Bulk Uploads require a custom SQL script to be validated, written and tested internally. Then executed by our developers who must stop existing development to implement into the production database.
This is not an automated process that IT just 'run' and can take up to 40 minutes of total IT time.
In addition, this process is considered to be high risk. Incorrect implementation(Code/Syntax errors) can bring down ChainIT and OneFlo for all customers and carriers
In no other SAS business would this be even considered as a offered IT service due to the potential for error
We only offer this is to assist with unmanageable levels of User/Item/DG creation/updates. (multiple hours worth)
This is because it is only at this stage the value add of bulk import is comparable to the cost efm IT and the risk to efm as a whole.
