Quoting - Quick Quote

Doing a quick quote is the best way of getting an estimate of freight charges and fees of sending an item or multiple items from the sending location to a receiving location.


Generating quotes will not create consignments for you! It will only retrieve an estimate of the pricing but will not print labels. You are not going to be able to send your freight by using this feature.


Quoting - How To


To do a quote, you need to enter the following items:

  1. Enter Sender Location. You can use smart search to select the correct Suburb/Postcode combination of the sending location.


  2. Enter Receiver Location. You can use smart search to select the correct Suburb/Postcode combination of the receiving location.


  3. Enter quantity and dimensions of items. Repeat for multiple items of different sizes.

    1. Code - If you have configured Shipping Items in your account, you can refer to OneFlo - My Shipping Units
    2. Packaging - Please refer to Packaging Types in Shipping Items - Packaging Type
    3. Qty - The number of items of this type, dimensions and weight.
    4. Length - Longest horizontal side of the item in centimetres.
    5. Width - Shortest horizontal side of the item in centimetres.
    6. Height - Vertical measurement of the item from its lowest point to the top in centimetres.
    7. Weight - Weight of this shipping item in kilograms.

    8. Volume - Calculated based on the dimensions provided. 

    9. Dangerous Goods - Tick if you want to quote for items that include DG

  4. Once completed, click Calculate

The system will then generate a quote using the agreed rates, rates will appear in order of cheapest to most expensive. Also listed is the ETA for each service.
