Overview

The OneFlo Autoprint Windows Service is the client service that will run on the despatch workstation to act as the printing agent for OneFlo. Autoprint communicates with the OneFlo web suite to store printer configuration and handle automatic job printing to configured label and A4 printers.

Technical Requirements

For an installation to work, the OneFlo user cannot have had AutoPrint installed before. If the user has had AutoPrint, a case will have to be raised with our IT Service Desk to remove the token. One OneFlo user per AutoPrint service installation.

  • Access to the Windows Printer Services (dependency on the Print Spooler)
    • If printers are on the network, the user has to have visibility/access to the printers on the Print server.
  • Read/Write on the installation directory.
  • A non-expiring password

Installation Procedure

Before proceeding, take note of the following:

  • Recommendation for AutoPrint is printing at least 30 consignments per day. Are you creating at least 30 consignments per day?
  • You will require administrator access to your computer to complete this setup.



  1. Locate the username for the computer by going to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > User Accounts
    This is where you can find the user name for the installation. This is case sensitive and will need to be entered exactly as seen here. The username can also be found in the Configure advanced user profile properties section highlighted on the left.

    Make note of this as it will be required for the installation process.

     

  2. Log into OneFlo: https://portal.oneflo.com.au > Type “/printerconfig” at the end of the URL.

    There is also another method of reaching the printer configuration screen but this needs to be approved and activated by an account manager
    This option is found in the settings cog:

  3. You can download the installer file for Autoprint from here autoprint.application.installer.msi

  4. Locate the installer file you just downloaded, titled:  autoprint.application.installer.msi
    Often found in your Downloads folder.
    Double click this file to run through the install process.
  5. During the install process you will be asked for a token.
    Enter Token

  6. Generate the token out of OneFlo and paste it into the installer then hit next.


  7. You will now be asked for the your login credentials that we retrieved in step 1. Reminder: These should be the username of the login that will be using Autoprint
    The password is the password that is used to log into the computer. Enter them in to complete the installation process.

  8. Once the installation is complete, click on Config Printers in the AutoPrinting set-up to assign the printers that will generate the labels & connotes.


    Here you can choose the default label printer and the connote printer (A4).


    Click on SAVE to finish the setup.

    To commence consigning, click on Consignments > Create Outbound to commence consigning (with AutoPrint flag turned on by default).


If at any stage you do not want to print the label automatically, you can turn off AutoPrint using the check box located under the SAVE button. This will show the labels and connotes in a PDF pop up window
