SendIT - Uploading Receiver List

 

Receivers can be loaded into SendIT in bulk if necessary. To do this, a case will need to be raised with our IT Support team, by you account manager, and a file, called a .stg2 file, is created that can be loaded into SendIT easily.

Requirements

  • The list provided to us must be in an Excel document.

  • There are a number of mandatory fields: Company Name, Address Line1, Suburb, State, Postcode, and other fields can be loaded as well, but are not mandatory: Search Code, Address Line2, Phone, Contact Name, Email, Delivery Instructions

Instructions

  1. Ensure all other SendIT applications connected to the database are closed before proceeding

  2. Open and login to one SendIT App

  3. Go to File > Load Receivers

  4. Select the file provided (it will be a .stg2 file type)

  5. It will ask if you would like to remove existing receivers, select yes as the new list will be an updated version of the current list with some added or removed. If you select no, then the list may not be accepted by the system.

  6. Click through the rest of the prompts

  7. Wait for the receivers to be uploaded

  8. When completed. Close SendIT and reopen

  9. Test a receiver by going to Consignment > Enter Consignment > and go to the select section, using one of the numbers provided in the receiver list (e.g. customer number) and check if it appears in the system
